How the Circuit Works: Notes

The left and right power mirrors are controlled by the power mirror switch. Each mirror has two reversible motors: one motor moves the mirror up and down, while the other motor moves the mirror left and right. The power mirror switch contains two switches to control mirror adjustment and a switch to select the left or right power mirror. With the ignition switch in ON (II), battery voltage is supplied through fuse 30 (in the under-dash fuse relay box) to the power mirror switch. The mirror selection switch directs battery voltage from the two direction switches to either the left or right power mirror. Each direction switch is used for more than one function.
