Installation ('08-10 models)

Install the alternator (A), then tighten the mounting bolt (B) and the alternator bracket mounting bolt (C).

Install the washer reservoir (see WASHER RESERVOIR REPLACEMENT ).
Install the harness clamp (A).

Install P/S fluid reservoir (B) to the reservoir bracket.
Install the A/C suction line clamp (A) and the A/C receiver line stay (B).

Connect the alternator connector (A), then install the BLK wire (B) to the alternator. Make sure the crimped it side of the ring terminal faces away from the alternator when you connect it.

Install the harness clamp (C) to the alternator, then connect the A/C compressor clutch connector (D) to the A/C compressor.
Install the bolt (E) securing the harness bracket.
Install the drive belt.

- J35A7 engine (see DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT )
Install the front grille cover (see FRONT GRILLE COVER REPLACEMENT ).
Install the engine cover (see step 61 on ENGINE MOUNT REPLACEMENT ).
Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure (see BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION )
