Park/Lock Cable: Tracker

  1. Remove console covers. Park/lock cable is adjusted at bracket, located near gearshift. Place ignition switch in ACC position.
  2. Loosen park/lock cable lock nut. See Fig 1. Lift cable from bracket, but not from park/lock cam.
  3. Place gearshift in PARK position with release button on gearshift fully depressed. Align adjusting nut with bracket with park/lock cable pulled tight. Rotate adjusting nut one revolution inward, away from park/lock cam. Tighten lock nut. Install console covers.
