A/C Module Inspection

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  2. Connect the A/C control module and disconnect the ambient temperature sensor connector.
  3. Turn the ignition switch ON. (the engine is OFF)
  4. Measure the voltage between chassis ground and the signal circuit (+) of the ambient temperature sensor.

    Specification:  approx. 5V

  5. Is the result within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Replace the A/C module with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the module.
    • Repair or replace relevant component(s) as necessary and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair ".
