Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling

    Front Side Door Trim (3) - Remove - Front Side Door Trim Removal and Installation (Without Front Side Door Trim Bolt Cap) , or Front Side Door Trim Removal and Installation (With Front Side Door Trim Bolt Cap)

    Front Side Door Pull Handle Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

  4. Front Side Door Pull Handle Bracket (2) - Remove

    Route front side door inside handle cable through hole in deflector (1).

  6. Front Side Door Water Deflector (1) - Remove

    Place the front side door window in the full up position.

  8. Remove the 2 front side door window regulator sash retaining bolts (1).

    Remove the front side door window (1) from the door frame.

  10. GM5845739

    Disconnect the electrical connector (1).

    Remove the 2 front side door window regulator lower access plugs (1).

  12. GM5845737

    Mark location of the front side door window regulator lower nuts (1) before removal to aid installation.

  13. Remove the 2 front side door window regulator lower nuts (1).

    Front Side Door Window Regulator Nut (1) - Remove

  15. GM5845732

    Remove the 2 front side door window regulator upper access plugs (1).

  16. GM5845733

    Remove the 2 front side door window regulator upper nuts (1).

  17. GM5845741

    Remove the front side door window regulator (1) through the door panel opening.

  18. Front Side Door Window Regulator (1) - Remove
