Installation Procedure

Install the intermediate steering shaft (1) in the vehicle using the following steps:

1. Collapse the intermediate steering shaft and position it in the vehicle.
2. Connect the intermediate steering shaft to the steering gear.
3. Expand the intermediate steering shaft and connect it to the steering column.

Intermediate Steering Shaft Lower Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 49 N.m (36 lb ft)
