Pinpoint Test H: Brake System Fill Not Complete

  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    REFER to: Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control - System Operation and Component Description .

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    ABS C1020:00 Brake System Fill Not Complete: No Sub Type Information This DTC is pre-set in a new ABS module and can only be cleared when the brake system has been successfully bled.

    Possible Sources 

    • Brake system has not been bled

  2. H1 CHECK THE ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM)DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the ABS module self-test.

    Is DTC C1020:00 present? 

    Yes  CARRY OUT the brake system bleed procedure. REFER to: Brake System Pressure Bleeding .
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time.
