Front Seat Cushion Cover: Removal

Passenger seat 

• 1.
  
  Remove the OCS sensor. Refer to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .

All driver seats 

• 2.
  
  Remove the front seat. Refer to: Front Seat .

• 3.
  
  Recline the front seat backrest.

  • 1.
    
    Remove the bolt cover.

  • 2.
    
    Remove the bolt.

    Torque: 35 lb.in (4.0 Nm)

  • 3.
    
    Remove the recline handle.

  • 1.
    
    If equipped.Release the retaining clip and remove the height adjustment handle.Use the General Equipment: Flat Headed Screw Driver

  • 2.
    
    Remove the screw.

    Torque: 27 lb.in (3.0 Nm)

  • 3.
    
    Slide forward and remove the side shield.

    Remove the screw.

    Torque: 27 lb.in (3.0 Nm)

  • 2.
    
    Pull the recliner cover up then out.

  • 3.
    
    Release the clip and remove the recliner cover.

Driver heated seats 

• 7.
  
  Disconnect the heated seat electrical connectors and position the wiring harness aside.

  Detach the backrest cover straps and position the backrest cover aside.

  NOTE: Use care when separating the cushion trim cover from the hook-and loop strips, or the hook-and-loop strips can be torn from the cushion foam pad.

  On both sides.Release the hook-and-loop strips and partially invert the seat cushion cover.

  On both sides.Release the hook-and-arrows, release the hook-and-loop strips and remove the seat cushion cover.

    Invert the cushion cover.

  • 2.
    
    Remove the hog rings.

  • 3.
    
    Invert the front and rear of the cushion cover.

    Remove the hog rings.
