Normal Operation

The brake pedal switch has greater than 10 volts when the ignition is in the ON position. When the brake is applied, voltage to the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module is removed. This normally closed switch is powered by the smart junction box (SJB) fuse 18 (10A) on circuit 601 (LB/PK) and feeds the ABS module on circuit 535 (LB/RD).
