Test J: Power Sliding Door Open/Close Switch Circuit Short To Ground

  1. Using New Generation Star (NGS) tester, perform Left Power Sliding Door Module (LPSDM) and Right Power Sliding Door Module (RPSDM) self-tests. If DTC B2366 is retrieved from LPSDM, go to next step. If DTC B2366 is retrieved from RPSDM, go to step  5.
  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using NGS tester, monitor LPSDM PID SD_OPSW. Ensure overhead console open/close switch is not pressed. If PID reads ACTIVE, go to next step. If PID reads NOTACT, clear LPSDM DTCs and repeat LPSDM self-test. If DTC B2366 is retrieved, replace LPSDM.
  3. Disconnect overhead console switch 8-pin harness connector C915. Using NGS tester, monitor LPSDM PID SD_OPSW. If PID reads ACTIVE, go to next step. If PID reads NOTACT, replace overhead console switch assembly.
  4. Disconnect LPSDM 12-pin harness connector C355. Measure resistance between LPSDM harness connector C355 terminal No. 2 (White/Light Green wire) and ground. If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, replace LPSDM. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in White/Light Green wire.
  5. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using NGS tester, monitor RPSDM PID SD_OPSW. Ensure overhead console open/close switch is not pressed. If PID reads ACTIVE, go to next step. If PID reads NOTACT, clear RPSDM DTCs and repeat RPSDM self-test. If DTC B2366 is retrieved, replace RPSDM.
  6. Disconnect overhead console switch 8-pin harness connector C915. Using NGS tester, monitor RPSDM PID SD_OPSW. If PID still reads ACTIVE, go to next step. If PID reads NOTACT, replace overhead console switch assembly.
  7. Disconnect RPSDM 12-pin harness connector C352. Measure resistance between RPSDM harness connector C352 terminal No. 2 (Light Green/Red wire) and ground. If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, replace RPSDM. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Light Green/Red wire.
