Test B: Abs Solenoid Or EEPROM Failure

NOTE: This test is associated with the following DTCs: B2143, C1011, C1012, C1013, C1026, C1027, C1028, C1056, C1057, C1058, C1071, C1072, C1073, C1138, C1195, C1196, C1197, C1211, C1212, C1213, C1243, C1244, C1245, C1247, C1248, C1249, C1401, C1402, C1403, C1411, C1412 and C1413.

Check ABS Warning Light If connected, remove breakout box and adapter. Reconnect ABS control module 22-pin connector C132 and Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) 8-pin connector C130. Ensure all connections are clean and tight. Start engine and observe ABS warning light. If after 5-10 seconds, ABS warning light stays on, replace ABS relay and go to next step. If after 5-10 seconds, ABS warning light turns off, fault is intermittent. No further testing is required at this time. Clear all codes.
Check ABS Control Module Start engine and observe ABS warning light. If after 5-10 seconds, ABS warning light stays on, replace HCU. If after 5-10 seconds, ABS warning light turns off, fault was corrected by replacing relay in step 1). Clear all codes.
