Power Supply & Ground Circuits

  1. Check for battery voltage at terminal No. 36 at ETACS control unit harness connector. The battery supplies voltage to 5-volt power supply in control unit at all times. If necessary, repair power supply circuit. See Figure -Figure .
  2. Disconnect ETACS control unit. Check continuity between control unit harness connector terminal No. 29 and ground, and between terminal No. 30 and ground. Continuity to ground should exist at both terminals at all times. If necessary, repair ground circuit(s).
