DTC P0462: Fuel Level Sending Unit Volts Too Low: Description

Circuit is monitored with ignition on. DTC is set when fuel level sensor signal circuit is less than .10 volt. Possible causes for DTC to set are: fuel level sensor signal circuit shorted to ground, intermittent wiring harness failure, defective fuel level sensor or defective Body Control Module (BCM).
