Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Front Compartment Splash Shield Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]
- Front Compartment Splash Shield Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]
- Front Compartment Splash Shield (3) - Remove
Front Wheelhouse Liner-Right (4) - Remove - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side
- CAUTION:
Handle the charge air cooler inlet and outlet air tubes only by the outside surface, making sure to avoid touching the internal seals. Touching the internal seals can dislodge them from their intended location and lead to seal damage and leaks during tube installation.
Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Retainer Spring (1) - Release
- Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose (2) @ Radiator Assembly - Remove
Radiator Lower Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Remove the radiator lower bracket (2) and insulator (1) by pushing up the radiator and fan assembly slightly.
