Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Brake Dust Warning

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (6-Lug Wheel)
  3. Remove Front Brake Rotor. Front Brake Rotor Replacement
  4. Disconnect Wheel Speed Sensor Electrical Connector

  5. Release Wheel Speed Sensor Electrical Connector Clip (1).

  6. Release Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Clip (1) @Brake Hose

  7. Release Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Clip (1) @Steering Knuckle
  8. Remove the front wheel hub and bearing bolts.Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement
  9. Remove the front wheel hub and bearing assembly from the steering knuckle while carefully feeding the wheel speed sensor harness through the brake shield.

  10. Remove Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt (1).
