Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat belt upper guide shoulder bolt.
  2. Remove the rear quarter upper trim, left or right side. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (TrailBlazer, Envoy) .
  3. Remove the lower seat belt anchor bolt cover.
  4. Remove the rear seat belt floor anchor bolt.
  5. Remove the rear quarter lower trim, left or right side. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Left or Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right .

  6. Remove the bolt that retains the rear seat belt retractor assembly to the body.
  7. Remove the rear seat belt retractor assembly from the vehicle.
