Test C: Power Door Lock Function Inoperative - Unlock Okay

  1. Using test light connected to ground, backprobe inoperative door lock switch harness connector terminal "A" (White wire). See Figure . Press UNLOCK button on any door lock switch. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step  3 .
  2. Check for poor connection at door lock relay harness connector terminal "F" (White wire). If connection is okay, replace door lock relay. If connection is not okay, repair as necessary. After repairs, go to step  4 .
  3. Repair open in White wire between door lock relay and door lock switch. After repairs, go to next step.
  4. Ensure ignition switch is in LOCK position. Reconnect connectors or components that were disconnected. Recheck system operation. Perform POWER DOOR LOCKS SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
