Test H: Passenger & Side Doors Lock/Unlock Inoperative

  1. Disconnect Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR). Remove power door lock relay. Using DVOM, check continuity between RCDLR connector terminal "H" (Tan wire) and power door lock relay connector terminal "B" (Tan wire). See Figure and Figure . If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, go to step  3 .
  2. Replace RCDLR. See REMOTE CONTROL DOOR LOCK RECEIVER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Reprogram replacement RCDLR to transmitter(s). See PROGRAMMING  . Go to step  4 .
  3. Repair open in Tan wire between power door lock relay and splice S243. Go to next step.
  4. Operate system to verify repair.
