Always check following items for possible causes of system malfunction before performing any test on trunk/hatchback or rear glass release system:
- Faulty fuses or circuit breakers.
- Loose or corroded connectors.
- Low battery charge.
- Poor ground connections.
- Inoperative lock or latch mechanism.
