Diagnostic Aids
Ensure speed sensor wiring is correctly routed. This will prevent false signals due to electrical noise. Ensure all wiring is thoroughly inspected. Check toothed wheel for large grooves, gouges, marks, etc., that might disturb tooth's signal. A worn hub/bearing may cause this fault in extreme cases. Do not use a wheel speed sensor once it has been separated from front hub/bearing assembly.
