Bleeding Rear Brakes

WARNING: Use DOT 3 Brake Fluid. The use of DOT 5 brake fluid may damage internal pump components.
  1. Rear rakes must be bled using hydraulic unit. Turn ignition on. Allow hydraulic accumulator to charge system. With ignition on, slightly depress brake pedal, and open rear caliper bleeder screw. When fluid contains no air, tighten bleeder screw.
  2. Perform same procedure on other side. DO NOT allow brake fluid to drop below seam line. After both calipers have been bled, or system needs fluid, depressurize brake system. Remove cap and fill reservoir.
