Installation Procedure

  1. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the exhaust flexible pipe. Refer to Exhaust Flexible Pipe Replacement .
  4. Install the HO2S. Refer to HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR REPLACEMENT - BANK 1 SENSOR 1 .
