Text Search for Test Modules in ISTA

SITUATION

When using the "Text Search" feature in ISTA (Integrated Service Technical Application), test modules (ABL) that do not pertain to the vehicle being diagnosed are listed in the "Hit List". This can lead to improper diagnosis or errors occurring during the execution of the test module.

CAUSE

General ISTA error

PROCEDURE

If it becomes necessary to search for a test module, do not use the "Text Search" path in ISTA. Always use the "Function Structure" path when searching for test modules.

With the release of ISTA D2.23, test modules are filtered out of the text search.
