DTC 206: Detection Brake Light Switch & Brake Light Test Switch Defective (E36): Troubleshooting

Using BMW service tester, compare displayed brake light switch to actual situation. A voltage of 12 volts is applied at pin No. 39 when the brake light switch is active. Ground is applied at pin No. 15 when the brake light test switch is active.
