EGR Vacuum Signal Dump Valve
- With engine at normal operating temperature, disconnect EGR dump valve vacuum hose at intake manifold and plug manifold port.
- Accelerate engine to 2000 RPM. Vacuum should be present at exhaust ports in bottom of valve. If not, replace EGR dump valve.
- Reconnect vacuum hose to intake manifold and accelerate engine to 2000 RPM. No vacuum should be present at exhaust ports in bottom of valve. If vacuum is present, replace EGR dump valve.
