Left Rear Differential Fluid Pressure Sensor Inspection

NOTE: Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.

Preconditions

Test Procedure

SH-AWD control unit output voltage inspection

Procedure
- Jump left rear differential fluid pressure sensor 3P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2 with a jumper wire.
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

(Disconnected) Left rear differential fluid pressure sensor 3P connector female terminals

Normal Conditions
1. -
  The HDS [Voltage of the Left Fluid Pressure Sensor for Rear Differential] value is less than 4.8 V .

Results

If it is normal, there is a problem with the left rear differential fluid pressure sensor.
If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the related components.

SHAWD_LPS, SHAWD_SG2 Circuit Inspection

Test Procedure

Preparation
1. -
  Left rear differential fluid pressure sensor 3P connector: disconnected
2. -
  SH-AWD control unit 24P connector: disconnected
Procedure
1. -
  Perform the inspection according to the following table.

SHAWD_SG2 open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
SHAWD_LPS open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
NOTE: Refer to the Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
SHAWD_LPS shorted to power inspection	ON			Not shorted

Results

SH-AWD Control Unit Inspection

Test Procedure

If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining SH-AWD control unit is the cause.
