VCENT Shorted Wire Inspection

NOTICE: 

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure

    PCM connector E (80P): disconnected

  • -

    A/F sensor (Sensor 1) connector (6P): disconnected

• Procedure
• • -

    Perform the inspection according to the following table.

    Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

(Disconnected) PCM connector E (80P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (1.5L Engine) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(2.0L Engine) (2024 2025) female terminals

Normal Conditions

VCENT shorted to ground inspection 

OFF

There is more than 1 MOhm 

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
