A/T Gear Position Indicator

NOTE: If necessary, refer to wiring schematic when checking component wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  1. Remove instrument panel gauge assembly from instrument panel. Disconnect harness connectors from rear of instrument panel gauge assembly. See Fig 1 .
  2. Using a DVOM, check for voltage and continuity at specified harness connectors and terminals. See Fig 2 . If necessary, check ground connection G404. Ground connection G404 is located behind driver's side of center console. See Fig 3 .
  3. If necessary, check fuse No. 1 (10-amp) located in instrument panel fuse/relay box, or fuse No. 32 (15-amp) located in engine compartment fuse/relay box.
